Quarter cut to show its vertical, straight grain, our Padauk wood veneer is most common in its native lands which include Central and Tropical West Africa, South Eastern Asia, South China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Burma and the Andaman Islands.
Padauk is renowned for its unusual colourations from blood red to orange and is sometimes described as vermillion. Closely related to the Narra, Padauk is prized for its colour, durability, strength and consistently smooth finish.
