Tamo Ash, otherwise known as Japanese or Manchurian Ash displays particularly unusual and lustrous figuring with exquisite flowing patterns. Bark & Rock’s books feature a ‘peanut’ effect which can apparently only be found in Tamo Ash trees that grow on the Northern Japanese island of Hokkaido. These beautiful organic motifs occur on just one side of the tree and are believed to be created as a result of extremely cold local winds.
Please note: As wood is a natural product, your notebook will be completely unique and may differ slightly from the photographs.
